  Castellon, Spain (Sports Network) - Michael Jonzon fired a six-under 65 on Saturday to move atop the leaderboard after the third round of the Castello Masters.

  Jonzon finished 54 holes at 16-under 197 and is one clear of two European Tour stars at Club de Campo del Mediterraneo.

  Defending champion and tournament host Sergio Garcia shot a four-under 67 and is tied for second place with Martin Kaymer, who is third on the Road to Dubai.

  Kaymer, who returned for the first time since breaking his toes two months ago, carded a 68 and joined Garcia at minus-15.

  Sam Hutsby, who is playing his third event as a professional, bogeyed the last on Saturday to shoot a five-under 66. He is alone in fourth at 14-under 199.

  The second round was completed Saturday morning after a three-hour wind delay on Thursday set the tournament back. The players went out in the third round in threesomes off both the first and 10th tees and now the tournament is back on schedule.

  Jonzon began the third round tied for fourth place at 10-under, but flew out of the gate Saturday.

  He knocked his approach to a foot at the first and tapped in for an easy birdie.

  At the fifth, Jonzon hit his second to 12 feet. He rolled in the birdie effort and two holes later, the Swede ran home an eight-foot birdie putt to get to 13-under par and put him into a tie for the lead with Robert Allenby.

  The Aussie, who shared the second-round lead with Kaymer, fell off the pace with a double-bogey at the seventh after he found the water. Jonzon birdied the 10th, which kept him tied for the lead with several players.

  Jonzon grabbed sole possession of the lead with back-to-back birdies at 13 and 14.

  He parred his last four holes to take his first third-round lead on the European Tour since the 1997 Portuguese Open, which was his only victory on tour.

  "I played really, really good," said Jonzon. "The game feels good. It's so many years now. I just have to play within myself tomorrow and focus on that and see what happens." Garcia, who has a good chance at his first successful title defense, birdied five and eight to make the turn in 34.

  He birdied the 11th for the third consecutive round to get to 14-under for the championship.

  At the par-five 13th, Garcia made it on the front of the green with his second.

  He lagged up to two feet and kicked in the short birdie putt, but could never catch Jonzon.

  The Spaniard needed a 15-foot par save at the last just to stay one back.

  "It was nice," said Garcia of his putt at 18. "That was to shoot a bogey-free round and it was my first bogey-free round of the week." Kaymer started terribly with a double-bogey at the second, but ended up with four birdies and a bogey the rest of the front nine for a 35. The German birdied 13 and 14, but lost a stroke with a bogey at the par-four 15th.

  Kaymer, who can reclaim the top spot on the Road to Dubai with a win on Sunday, sank a 15-foot birdie putt at 17 to get into second place.

  "I had a really rough start," acknowledged Kaymer. "I had a great comeback. In general, I'm pretty happy with a three-under, especially after that start. It was good." Peter Hanson (66) and Christian Nilsson (65) are tied for fifth place at minus-13.

  Allenby struggled to an even-par 71 and is seventh at 12-under-par 201.

  David Drysdale (66), Shiv Kapur (70), Maarten Lafeber (64) and two-time Masters champion Jose Maria Olazabal (70) are knotted in eighth at 11-under 202.
