• European Tour announces early 2010 schedule

  
  

  London, England (Sports Network) - The European Tour announced the first part of the 2010 International Schedule on Monday and there are just two events at the end of 2009.

  The second Race to Dubai starts in South Africa with the Alfred Dunhill Championship from December 10-13. The following week is the South African Open Championship. Richard Sterne won both events to open the 2009 season.

  After a holiday break, the tour returns with four events in January. The first two are in South Africa and the next two are in the Persian Gulf region.

  Theslate inFebruary and March includes the first two World Golf Championships events, while the schedule in early April includes the first major of the season, The Masters, which is slated for April 8-11.
